Business Consultant

We are planning on opening a chain of restaurants in Birmingham, London and Manchester. We would also like to expand this chain of restaurants in the rest of the country using a franchise model. We would like to hire a Business Consultant who can successfully oversee the whole process of this business expansion including the opening of the restaurants and expanding the chain through franchises. The Candidates should ensure that they have relevant experience to this role and have had achieved successful results in the past in this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Creating in-depth reports and presentations on a business's processes.
  • Providing forecasts and expectations.
  • Suggesting solutions to business problems.
  • Establishing methods for testing business applications and creating templates for reports used to monitor application effectiveness.
  • Hosting workshops and staff presentations within a company.
  • Working closely with key customers to keep them updated on process changes designed to improve service.
  • Studying new and potential trends within an industry.
  • Discovering new opportunities and markets for businesses to expand in Finding new financial avenues to keep a company solvent.
Remuneration: Basic salary of £50,000 + Special bonuses on meeting targets.

Main job responsibilities will be:

  • Set up the kitchen with utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
  • Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients
  • Generating Purchase Orders for ingredients and food for the kitchen
  • Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes
  • Marinate different types of meats and prepare frozen meat products
  • Following the budget set by the management
  • Monitoring junior food staff
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen
  • Manage inventory and stock counts
  • Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
  • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
  • Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality
  • Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary
